Bahiyah Shabazz is the founder and CEO of Shabazz Management Group, LLC, a boutique personal development consulting firm based in Merrillville, Indiana. As an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and strategist, she’s recognized as an expert.

As a Vice President of Retail Financial Services & Investments, she advised individual consumers and small business customers how to accomplish financial goals and properly increase revenue through adequate strategic planning. Bahiyah’s educational path allows her the expertise she currently uses.  With a psychology and financial background, she noticed how society recklessly spends money and lacks self-reliance.  The outlandish spending derives from emotional spending, which she felt must be addressed.

She is the author of two books: Stillwaters and Finances are Linked to Emotions.  She has written news articles about emotional spending, strategic planning for businesses, premarital financial consultations, and finances for children. She frequently presents seminars and workshops to groups, businesses, and organizations. Some of her seminar presentations include “Finding your Stillwaters”, “Self Reliance”, "Budget your Cashflow", Planning for Success” and “Embrace Change & Reaching Milestones”.

Bahiyah received her Master of Business Administration (Business & Finance) from University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology & Minority Studies) from Indiana University.
